Nolan Allen-- ITS A BOY

Yeah-- He is finally here!! We are proud to introduce Nolan Allen Haskett!! He arrived Monday morning 5 am and was 8 lb 2 oz. Big Boy!

Sunday night I knew for some reason I was going to be having the baby that night. I told Josh about my feelings, finished cleaning, and set a pillow on the couch for a friend to come over. Not 3 minutes later my water broke! Josh couldn't believe it when I walked upstairs and told him we were going to the hospital. I was not having any contractions at this point, so I was a little strange for me and still quite shocked myself. We were at the hospital for about 2-3 hours before I started feeling any pain. Another 3 hours later and we had a crying baby. I went so quick once I did start labor that the nurses were hardly in the room and they were telling me to not push so that the doctor could get his gloves on. Despite my strong feelings that it was going to be a girl- we were very suprised and happy to meet our little boy! Josh was able to "catch" him and the delivery went very well-- besides the fact that I still can't seem to find a reason why I like delivering without an epidural- all I can say is that I am glad it's over.

We are all happy and healthy and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Kayla and Hayden are adjusting well so far and we are taking it easy as we get used to this 3 kids thing. Thanks to everyone who has already been so helpful!! Here are some quick first day pictures!

Congrats on another cute little boy! Glad to hear that things went well and can I say that I think that you must really like the pain to do the whole thing without the epidural---Brooke you are so dang crazy but we love you anyway!
