Projects- Before and After

I seem to get a lot done when Josh is gone. Last month he climbed Mt. Rainier and was gone for a week. In that time I decided to repaint the kids bedroom. I wanted something that I could fit both Kayla and Hayden into. Poor Hayden has been in a girls room for 2 years. And although we are trying to get into a bigger house and could be moving - I decided I had been waiting long enough to make the change.

Found these prints from Pottery Barn- Love them- but not for $400.

Decided to paint them myself- for $20.

Put it together for a Finished Project!

It is simple- just blue- but I like it much more. I tried to make it work for a boys and girls room. they are totally different colors- butI think it turned out all right. Soon enough they will have separate rooms... and who knows- we may add Nolan to this tight place to make room for baby......bunkbeds anyone?

Kitchen Makeover:

I also wanted to change up the kitchen - so I added the red accent wall.
